Heyy friends! I’m GALISIA. I specialize in micro box braids, but my list of services covers many other braid styles also. ‼️‼️‼️I take periodic video/pics as I’m braiding. This is typically only of the back or side of your head/style. My pics are for my business social media accounts. If your face is in video I block it out or ask for permission to post. If you prefer your style not be recorded PLEASE DO NOT BOOK I am aware of the recent trend of clientele feeling they should be compensated for usage of their hair pics. I respect everyone’s right to choose. I also note that my clientele is already established (20+ years professionally braiding) and my usage of videos is for educational purposes, not necessarily to gain following or appointments. I am a home based braider and have been braiding for 20+ years. I GENUINELY love it. I have a heart for service and helping people through this platform comes natural for me. My hope is to always display kindness, fairness, and authenticity all while promoting healthy hair and getting back to the times of having friendly stylists without all the chaos 💋 PLEASE READ ALL DISCLOSURES BEFORE BOOKING‼️ These cover all of the questions I get asked and the issues I’ve seen over the years. Understanding of these are important to making sure your appointment goes smoothly. 🏡 Home Based Braider I do not take same day appt requests DEPOSITS & RESCHEDULES 💕A $25-$60 deposit is required to secure your appointment. Deposit amount is dependent upon which style you get. This deposit does go toward your style 💕Deposit is required through booking site. I will not/do not charge your card for your style. Final payment methods are below. 💕Deposits are NON REFUNDABLE, unless issue with appointment is due to my own error 💕Reschedule is allowed as long as you cancel at least 48 hours prior to your appointment. Deposit can/will be applied towards your rescheduled appointment as long as you reschedule within 21 days. 💕Discounts are honored for 30 days unless otherwise discussed 💕No call no show, same day cancellation, and more than 1 cancellation cannot book with me again (I do understand that things come up so communication is key and can usually resolve a cancellation issue) 💕Deposit can only be reapplied for 1 reschedule. IF YOU CANCEL YOUR RESCHEDULE, THE DEPOSIT IS FORFEITED 💕I do not braid for a living so I do not sweat cancellations. I only require that you be respectful of my time as I will do the same for you APPOINTMENT & PRICING 💕Please have hair already washed, COMPLETELY DRY, and as much detangled as possible. Most styles take several hours, so being detangled prior to service saves time and I do not like having to be the person that applies pressure to my client’s head 💕Please do not come with product in your hair (gel, glue, conditioner, oil etc) You can apply oil after your style is complete 💕I am a home braider with children so no additional guests are allowed. My home is very peaceful and my children are well behaved. Many of my clients are moms so I do try to accommodate from time to time, but please inquire first. This is not something that I do on the regular so do not expect it as a guarantee 💕My prices include the hair unless otherwise noted. I buy my hair in bulk so you do not pay an upcharge for the hair. BRINGING YOUR OWN HAIR DOES NOT CHANGE THE PRICE 💕I prefer you have at least 2” of hair for most styles. If your hair is shorter, please make sure to inquire before booking. You can text directly @ 972.352.7070. I can grip short hair but it adds to the time 💕I promote healthy hair, length and edge retention and have plenty of testimonials to support that. If your hair is severely damaged, breaking, thinning or balding please inquire prior to booking. I like to make sure we only book you for styles that will be conducive to getting your hair back on track and cause as less tension as possible 💕I accept payments via APPLE PAY, VENMO, PAYPAL, ZELLE and CASH ONLY 💕The times noted on your style selection are approximations based off my 20+ years of experience. Head size, thickness,shortness of hair, and length/size of braids can add to the time 💕PLEASE BE PREPARED TO SIT FOR THE AMOUNT OF TIME IT TAKES TO GIVE YOU A STYLE WORTH WHAT YOU ARE PAYING FOR 💕I typically take 1 break to eat for the longer styles and you can take stretch breaks as needed 💕PLEASE ONLY BOOK LONGER/EXTRA SMALL STYLES ON A DAY THAT YOU ACTUALLY HAVE THE TIME TO COMMIT, A DAY WHEN YOU ARE COMPLETELY FREE, AND NOT ON A DAY WHEN YOU HAVE OTHER OBLIGATIONS. I WILL NOT/DO NOT RUSH MY WORK 💕My prices are very competitive for the level of work that I do. I DO NOT NEGOTIATE MY PRICES and I respect your right to choose someone else for your service if my prices don’t work for you 💕I DO NOT PROVIDE KNOTLESS, CORNROW OR FAUX LOC STYLES IN MY SERVICES.
